Beware the termites

Termites are small ant like creatures that live in colonies. They feed on woods and spreads to all wooden surfaces. Old unattended wooden objects are their main residence. Once they start living on the wooden furniture or any wooden object, the wood begins to crumble. Moisture helps in the growth of termites. A single queen termites with the help of the king can produce a whole colony of termites. It is better to get rid of them as soon as you spot them. Home remedies help in clearing the termites when they are in the starting stage. But as they spread it is difficult to get rid of them through home remedies, getting professional help is better. Treat your wooden furniture and other wooden objects with termite resistant coating. Once they make their appearance it is better to treat the whole house, cleaning the whole house is the best way to terminate them. Large colonies of termites should be treated with chemical pesticides. Be careful when using chemicals as they can cause some side effects on your health. Do a regular check up for presence of the termites and take precautionary measures to prevent them.
