Tuesday, December 22nd, 2009There are more ways to lose weight than you can imagine. Deciding on a diet is more difficult than choosing one piece from a box of assorted chocolates. We all like to have chips with too much salt, a piece of cake or thick white toast dripping with butter. We are not aware of a diet chart until we look at our thickening middle layer.
Start out by writing down your daily food consumption, you have to admit, until then you have never known what you eat. As you write down ask yourself whether you are actually hungry or just thirsty. We all must understand dehydration to hunger. Next time you think you need a chocolate bar or a slice of the cheesecake in between meals, try a glass of water or protein snacks first. Eating less helps, the reason most of us are overweight is because we eat too much. Simply cut down, it is possible with practice, to put the lid back on the tub of ice cream and save it for tomorrow.
